The first investment

“With this financing round, we are supporting eologix together with our partners on their successful path to further consolidate their market position in the onshore and offshore sector,” explains Marcus Böker, Managing Director at Phoenix Contact Innovation Ventures. “eologix was our first investment with Phoenix Contact Innovation Ventures in 2016. We are therefore particularly pleased that this journey is continuing. For the Phoenix Contact Group, this development is a further concrete step in the implementation of the All Electric Society.”

eologix, the Austrian market leader for ice detection on wind turbines, develops sensors that measure directly on the rotor blade surface and thus make renewable energies even more attractive. With the new investment, eologix will extend and expand its existing product portfolio with additional condition monitoring services in order to achieve the long-term vision of having eologix sensors on every wind turbine. Internationalization is now to be driven forward with new international investors.
